Our company manufactures load sensors which can provide an accurate measurement of compression or tension forces in various types of weighing and industrial load-measurement systems. However, the largest field of application is in overload protection for hoisting devices. Overhead cranes, such as Electrical Overhead Travelling (EOT) cranes, container cranes and gantry cranes, as well as most other hoisting equipment, require a load-limitation system in order to comply with safety regulations and ensure that a crane or hoist is not overloaded.

Load-measuring pins are delivered according to custom-made dimensions so that they can replace an existing non-instrumented pin or shaft, thereby reducing costs.

For each case where the use of load-measuring pins (double shear beam load cells) is not appropriate, SENSY can propose a wide range of tension load cells, compression load cells, dynamometer wedge sockets, clevis pin shackles and wire rope load cells.

These products are also available adapted to operate in extreme conditions, such as offshore, underwater, high-temperature environments and certified according to the ATEX Directive for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, etc.
